Advanced Energy names Jim Gentilcore President of Advanced Energy Voorhees, Inc.

Voorhees, New Jersey (November 15, 1999), – Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: AEIS) has named Jim Gentilcore President of Advanced Energy Voorhees, Inc., formerly RF Power Products, located in Voorhees, New Jersey. Mr. Gentilcore has direct operational and strategic responsibility for AE Voorhees' overall performance. In announcing the new appointment, Hollis Caswell, AE’s President and COO, said, “Jim has great capabilities and the skills necessary to see that the Voorhees site capitalizes upon its many strategic strengths. It’s over a year now that Jim has been in Voorhees, and he has been a real contributor to the site’s accomplishments during that time."

 

Dr. Caswell also noted that Dr. Joseph Stach, former President and CEO of RF Power, and current Senior Vice President of AE, will now have time to "focus his extensive knowledge of our business and its customers on special corporate assignments supporting myself and Doug Schatz, our Chairman and CEO."

Before joining Advanced Energy in 1996, Mr. Gentilcore spent six years at MKS Instruments, most recently as Vice President of Marketing. Before that, he was a Vice President at Helix Technology.
