Advanced Energy® Names Dr. Bruno W. Doetsch as Vice President of International Sales   


International semiconductor industry sales expertise enhances global customer focus initiatives 

 

FORT COLLINS, Colo., July 6, 2006—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) today announced that Dr. Bruno W. Doetsch, 45, has joined as Vice President of International Sales. This newly formed position will leverage Dr. Doetsch’s operations, sales and technical expertise to broaden the Company’s global customer reach and focus.

Most recently, Dr. Doetsch was Corporate Senior Director of Business Development at Mattson Technology, a semiconductor process equipment provider located in Fremont, California. Earlier, he was Senior Director and General Manager of Mattson Asia where he established operations in China and extended the company’s presence in regions such as Taiwan and Korea. Prior to Mattson’s acquisition of STEAG Electronic Systems, Dr. Doetsch was STEAG’s Director of Operations in Taiwan. He had held previous sales and operations positions at global high-technology companies including Sympatec GmbH and VSI Vacuum Science Instruments GmbH. He holds a doctorate degree in physics from the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.
