Advanced Energy® Names Yuval Wasserman as Senior Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing


FORT COLLINS, Colo., July 13, 2007—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq GM: AEIS) today announced that Yuval Wasserman has accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Sales, Services and Marketing. Mr. Wasserman will report directly to Dr. Hans Betz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Energy. “Yuval is a seasoned veteran of the semiconductor industry, and he fills a very important role in our organization. His extensive experience in leading companies through various stages of development, and in building global sales and marketing organizations, strengthens our organization as we address our growth opportunities,” said Dr. Betz.

Most recently, Mr. Wasserman served at Tevet Process Control Technologies Inc., where he was President and CEO. Prior to working with Tevet, he held senior executive and general management positions at Boxer Cross (acquired by Applied Materials), Fusion Systems, and AG Associates. Mr. Wasserman started his career at National Semiconductor, where he held various process engineering and management positions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Ben Gurion University in Israel, and studied business at the AeA/Stanford University Executive Institute.
