Advanced Energy Contributes $22,000 to the American Red Cross

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Sept. 18, 2001)—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS) announced today that it has contributed more than $22,000 to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund to support the efforts to assist victims and families of the national tragedy that took place on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The total contribution was comprised of employee donations combined with a matching donation by the company. In addition, Advanced Energy has mobilized a program throughout all its locations to assist employees interested in donating blood for medical treatment.
