Advanced Energy Announces New Distributor in Sao Paulo, Brazil

June 25, 1999—Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (AE) announced today that it has appointed Acatec Comercio e Representacoes, Ltda. (Acatec) as exclusive distributor for its products in Brazil. Acatec is located in Sao Paolo. Until now, AE has been providing its power conversion and control products to the growing industrial and vacuum systems market in Brazil by direct sale. The appointment of Acatec will enable AE to better support its existing customer base and to provide leadership and direction to AE in expanding sales in that important market.
